This short blog is coming to you from Alden Briggs who is currently in The Villages, Florida.

This is my first attempt at a blog so I will keep it short. First I must apologize that the Fredericton Pickleball Club website is not up-to-date. Much to my surprise after Dawna and I arrived in Florida, I discovered that I cannot update the FPC website from a mobile device - iPad or iPhone. I guess I should have brought my iMac with me.

There is lots of opportunity to play Pickleball here in The Villages. They have around 150 courts with open play from 7 to 10 AM every day. There is also various designated play time but also a lot of free time. This results in us playing 2 to 3 hours every day. The courts are beautiful. There are 35 Reactional Centres here and a lot of them have either a 4 or 6 court Pickleball facility. The newest Rec Centre, Rohan, has 18 Pickleball courts!!

The weather has been fairly nice the last couple of weeks although it is cool here today. Still, no snow here which is unlike what the 'big' storm dumped on Fredericton yesterday. Believe me, reading about snow storms is much better than experiencing them. Please don't jeprodize your Pickleball play with any snow removal activity.
